AIAI/EMORY 2025 SEED GRANT

Recipient of a seed grant furnished by the Atlanta Interdisciplinary AI Network (AIAI) and Emory University to host a community program for 404 Day! Weekend in support of my study, (404) Job Not Found: What Workforce Training Can’t Fix for Black Atlantans in the Age of AI, which was published by the Data & Society Research and Policy Institute in February 2026.

HAPEVILLE DEPOT MUSEUM 2025-2026 ARTISTS & HISTORIANS IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM (CYCLE 4)

Collaboration with Atlanta-based artist Kiara Gilbert as a historian-in-residence for the Hapeville Depot Museum on a permanent exhibition chronicling Hapeville, Georgia’s Works Progress (WPA) Era, opening in July 2026.

HAMBIDGE CREATIVE RESIDENCY PROGRAM (FALL 2026)

Selected as a Fall 2026 writing resident for the Hambidge Creative Residency, the oldest residency program in the Southeast, to work on a book manuscript grounded in my doctoral dissertation, “The South Got Something to Share: A Behind-the-Screens Look at the Work/Lives of Black Creative Contract Workers in Atlanta.”
