Personal Projects

I think about things and then act on those thoughts by creating the resources I want to see in the world.

the intersection

I'm the kind of person that likes to identify patterns and connections between things that seemingly don't go together. Understandably, I was the kid that always mixed up my Slurpee flavors because Pina Colada just tasted better with Wild Cherry and Orange. This weekly newsletter is a way for me to share some of my favorite findings from the artificially-flavored world that we call the Internet.

women of commerce

Wouldn't it be cool if there was an online resource highlighting brick-and-mortar businesses in New York City owned by women of color? This thought led me to create "Women of Commerce," a curated map of businesses owned by women of color in New York City. The intention is that anyone specifically interested in supporting businesses owned by women of color could easily find them.

general interest

General Interest was my (infrequent) blog where I wrote about topics that sparked my interest and interviewed people who sparked my interest. I have since taken the essence of this blog and translated it into my weekly newsletter, The Intersection.
